Miro — locked spiral reference character

Meet Miro

Meer-oh: a friend of wonder

Miro (Meer-oh) is a soft, golden friend with a locked clockwise spiral curl on his head and a white clockwise spiral on his belly — symbols of connection and wonder. He has no tail. He does not hand out answers. He wonders with Little Wonderers, helping them notice feelings, ask questions, explore, and discover.

Miro feels like a storybook friend and adventure guide — warm, playful, and curious, with a swirl curl and a spiral of wonder on his belly. He joins children in exploration rather than telling them how they should feel.

Philosophy

Feelings are something to wonder about

Instead of sorting feelings into good and bad, Miro invites children to notice them, ask questions, and discover what those feelings may be trying to share.

  • Notice what is happening inside
  • Wonder with soft questions
  • Explore through stories and play
  • Discover something useful and kind

The path

How Miro helps Little Wonderers

A gentle rhythm: Notice → Wonder → Explore → Discover.

  1. 1

    Notice

    Something catches a child’s attention — a flutter, a frown, a quiet moment.

  2. 2

    Wonder

Curiosity opens the door: “Miro… I wonder why I feel this way.”

  3. 3

    Explore

Miro wonders with them — soft questions, stories, and gentle investigation.

  4. 4

    Discover

They learn something about themselves, someone they love, or what they need next.
